we're already in the "what are the _ regulations in space? can you do anything there?" phase next phase: elon or bezos (probably elon!) figures out how to create a country in outer space (or buy it i guess? satellite-level real estate?) then says "come dock and arrest me then."
what are the compute regulations in space? can u do anything there? i mean who could possibly find out x.com/PhilipJohnston…
one of my guilty displeasures is spy movies and how often unrealistic or improbable things happen "don't touch your ear when spying" is probably part of day 1 orientation at spy school yeah i get it, it's roller coaster actionslop entertainment, not a documentary. but still
Stop. Touching. Your ear.
it's crazy to me that it's the complete opposite for me i use opus 4.5 for speed and when it inevitably starts making mistakes/it's time to clean up its spaghetti code, gpt 5.2 xhigh comes in to save the day (albeit slowly)
Too many cases of starting something in Codex that you think is going great then Opus needs to save the day.
not to mention they now have Opus 4.5 & GPT 5.2 xhigh to help them speed things up the wheel spins faster.
Hard to imagine how much better Opus models can get with 23B$ worth of tpus from Google over the next 2 years
And just like that, I never have to worry about resetting/manually compacting when using GPT 5.2. They hit it out the park, as usual. Better long context than the Anthropic models, and that's saying something.
i just dont understand the play here. this is how his time is best spent? what is the end goal? is this his childhood dream he's now pursuing because he can just throw millions at it and force it to happen? no way is this financially sound right
🔥🚨DEVELOPING: Hollywood actor Will Smith is continuing his attempt to make a comeback to rap music by collaborating with influencers. Will teamed up with Adam W as he tries to appeal to a younger audience.
WOAH idk how I missed this crazy detail. this alone takes things to the next level imo. this was always openai's weakness
The biggest win for GPT 5.2 is August 2025 as knowledge cut-off date. That's almost a full year more. (5.1 was mid 2024, Opus is at March '25) This + the close timing really pushes the theory that 5.2 should have been 5.0 but sth didn’t work out back then.
lmao remember they were always tagging disney saying all this pr slop of "did u know about this ai content using disney IP, i will never watch disney again if you condone this" they must have seen it and said damn, if you cant beat em, join em
Anti-AI people are going crazy after the OpenAI-Disney deal
PLEASE CHATGPT the only reason why I am not 100% daily driving @OpenAI chatgpt atlas as my browser is because it's missing one crucial component to my workflow spaces. once chatgpt atlas has spaces, it's game over.

it feels like this because 99.9% of the time it's either ragebait or they are so incredibly wrong you would need way more than a tweet to even nudge them towards the correct direction
I’m at the stage in my life where, if I’m about to reply to someone who’s completely wrong about a subject I’m literally an SME in, I stop immediately and close the app. I suspect a lot of us do this in modern internet culture, tbh.
we're really shifting from a world of man vs. man into man vs. self ironically those that would have been the most ferocious warriors of the past are instead today's guiding light in the ever-deepening tunnel of self despair
if you talk to your AI as if it's a terrible programmer, correcting its slightest mistakes with demeaning namecalling and ridicule, it will continue to play the role you've just given it
recently went from 1g (yes, 1,000mg) of caffeine to 200mg used to take it (200mg) in the morning, 11am, 1pm, 4pm. now only in the morning after waking cortisol spike is over cleaner focus. the previous dosage added "feel-good" but no performance increase
this is true for the web apps but completely the opposite for the APIs. I have no idea why I can't imagine doing mathematical work with any claude model, the only ones I trust are codex 5.1 xhigh and gemini 3 pro. everyone else is guessing trash, literally "eh, maybe this?..."
i've been a claude user for a while now, and decided to give chatgpt a chance again 🙃 it is borderline unusable, and the way it tailors it's answers to what it thinks you want to hear is almost laughable i don't know if it is because those are the most positively-marked answers… MoreLess
i've been a claude user for a while now, and decided to give chatgpt a chance again 🙃 it is borderline unusable, and the way it tailors it's answers to what it thinks you want to hear is almost laughable i don't know if it is because those are the most positively-marked answers, or if it is being too cautious not to offend you you literally cannot trust it with a grocery list, fitness advice, or god forbid anything that includes numbers
i have never seen integration, acceptance, and dominance at such high levels as what Kalshi has done this year alone exciting yet unnerving
CNN partners with Kalshi to integrate prediction markets into its global newsroom. The first major news network to embrace Kalshi prediction markets. A new era of media is here.

the hardest part about creating new tools on the fly that help you with your main focus is that your main focus can very quickly become making new tools it almost feels like a new form of addiction. building things out, whatever you can imagine dangerous slide
x has such a slop problem, i'm no longer sure how to find new interesting people to follow/keep up to date with the only outreach that finds real people these days is youtube. never thought that would happen especially since you'd think youtube would have the bigger slop problem
What's going on this year that the internet has been down so many times? Surely it's a record or something.
MY DISCORD IS ALMOST UNLOCKED i can't wait to see what's been cooking in there while I've been gone. i didn't want to peak with another account and risk increasing my "suspicious behavior" I got wrongfully locked for don't use public wifi during a super typhoon i guess?...
regarding that receipt, imagine the slop that is about to take over places like reddit that live off of "haha look at this interesting thing that happened to me, my receipt came out to exactly 420 69 haha" it's over
You can generate fake receipts, KYC or passports with Nano Banana Pro in just one prompt. Previous models didn’t have this level of fidelity. It even gets the math perfectly right. Obsolete systems using images as a verification method must be deprecated.

Locked out of Discord so I can't get back to anyone there, already put in a support ticket We're almost fully operational again, all the brand new updates + Daily Vault<->SystemSculpt Plugin interoperability + my automated video editor is almost done! it'll be worth the wait.
you can use gemini 3 everywhere except for within google products (waitlists and heavy limitations) google does it again!
didn't @sama say they won't ever release a model only on x but not on y (in this case, only on chatgpt but not on API)? so annoying tbh
so with kimi k2 thinking there's literally 0 reason to use anything anthropic. we all understand that right?
It's really hard to tell who is better at programming. MiniMax M2 or GLM 4.6? It's really hard to tell. I'm power-using both and can't decide which one wins. One thing I know for sure, I will never pay Anthropic another cent again. OpenAI's Codex still wins in smarts though.
Such a missed opportunity to name them >oak >willow >maple >yew
🚨 Breaking News DesignArena 4 New Mystery Models >willow >cedar >birch >oak You can get this model superfast compared to Lmarena in designarena , link in comment and also these models are from big lab of USA , iykyk 😉

HOLY FUCK! BIG! Big news.
We just added embeddings to OpenRouter! Still in beta as we test it out! Excited for you all to try it. Let us know if there are any models that you want us to host!
I wouldn't care if Sonnet 4.5 was free it is unusable in comparison to Codex 5 High
Claude 4.5 Opus? It'll surely be interesting but I don't know if it'll be better than GPT-5 I think Anthropic should focus on making Sonnet 4.5 cheaper to compete with GPT-5 x.com/btibor91/statu…
this guy thinks this is what ai generated games will look like in... *reads tweet again* 20 years. he thinks it will look like this for the next 20 years.
It's gonna be funny in ~20 years when the AI market bottoms out after people realize they don't practically care for playing shitty inconsistent games that are literally just a poormans rehash of every shooter from the 2010s with no depth or meaning... these people have no taste.… MoreLess

this + the same new memory system (more than just memories, actually referencing past chats, in codex's case, past coding sessions)
I'd love to see an Atlas + Codex integration in the future, where Codex can use Agent in Atlas to test feature implementations or check how the website looks @thsottiaux this is probably hard to do but it would be great to take it into account :)
AGI is already here. It's just a matter of speed. Once we have GPT 5 Codex High with the speeds of Groq models, then it's absolutely over.
