i swear, something is wrong today with sonnet 4. or claude code. producing straight trash today for some reason i wonder if there's been a silent update or something. 1.1.0 of claude code doesn't show any meaningful changes but then again idk if they share system prompt changes
i finally understand why some people follow like, 15 accounts everyone's rage baiting, engagement farming, slop posting, for that juicy X paycheck (or hope of it)
"Claude Code." "Claude Code." "Do you trust your own code?" "Claude Code." "Have you ever committed without asking it first?" "Claude Code." "Do you always tell it to ultrathink?" "Ultrathink." "What's it like to push code that actually works?" "Ultrathink."

this makes me feel so much better about my frequent 3 hours of sleep days
The health indicator no one talks about = the strong desire to work and build things. Whether for the intrinsic love of the work, the rewards, or both. Yes we need sleep and (some need) recreation but drive is at least as important as any other metric.
Why does this simplification make me bullish for Apple
🚨NEW: Apple plans to skip iOS 19 and jump straight to (wait for it) iOS 26. Not a joke. 😂 All the OSs are going to identify by year now instead of version number.

if deepseek releases something tonight im gonna lose my mind. i just started trying to go to bed at 9PM, but these last few weeks have been keeping me up with releases and trying them out... tragic for my health but (hopefully) worth it in the long term?
There was a dislike button on TikTok a few days ago, only lasted there about a day or so. I miss it already. It felt so good clicking it and actually seeing less of whatever I thumbs downed. Idk why they removed it :(
I'm trying so hard to max out my Claude Opus 4 usage in every five-hour window I get with the Claude Max $200 plan, but I just can't seem to do it. I never reach the limit, even though I'm working on four different projects at the same time.
Hold on a second—does Anthropic not have a Discord server? The only invite link I could find is dead or invalid. How are people even communicating about anything related to them if not through Discord? Surely Reddit isn't their only platform.
By the way, in case you didn't know or haven't experienced it yet, Opus 4 just one-shots everything. Now, keep in mind, I'm using it exclusively through Claude Code, so the results are partly thanks to how it's able to utilize Claude Code. But yeah, absolutely next-level model.
The only reason I still use Arc, the web browser, is because of their YouTube media player. When you click off into a different tab, it opens up their little mini player. Oh my gosh, it's the best experience ever. Movement of it, autoplaying next, resizing, all via trackpad...
I've tried using Reddit for the past week or so, subscribing to all of the AI-related subreddits. And let me tell you, it's something that I deeply regret. If you want to talk about brain rot, all those posts are brain rot. I've yet to find one insightful Reddit post.
no one is talking about it because everyone is too addicted to building/refactoring their projects/businesses with it it's over, opus 4 qualifies as agi for me, for all of my life's use cases. a better model could never see the light of day and I'd be fine with that
claude 4 opus can literally replace junior engineers. it is absolutely capable of doing their work faster than a junior engineer, cheaper than a junior engineer, and more accurately than a junior engineer and no one is talking about it
opus 4, opus 4, opus 5
comment your: - favorite model of all time - most used model (presently) - model launch you are most excited about I'll start: Sonnet 3.5, o3, GPT-5 and DeepSeek R2 close 2nd
friendly reminder: there are still people out there using gpt-4o-mini (without knowing, of course) and calling AI shit because they don't understand that there are different models
The only benchmark that matters is how much better it works for whatever it is that you do. In my case, Sonnet 4 / Opus 4 are pretty much AGI. It’s to the point where even if we never see a better model than these, I would be fine with that. Agents / MCPs / whatever is solved.
On Anthropics Internal AI research evaluation suite Claude 4 models underperform Claude 3.7 Sonnet

I’ve been thinking about this. What’s the saving grace for Apple? The only thing that could save them? Acquire Anthropic But I don’t think Anthropic would ever do this no matter the amount of money
Apple should acquire Anthropic. Evolve Siri into Claude. That would catapult Anthropic into consumer relevancy and presumably “fix” Apple Intelligence. Make OpenAI really dance.
>repeatedly state they don’t care about themselves, they only care about the people/society >talk about nothing except how much they don’t care about themselves >10min video of them talking about themselves (but not really, but kinda?) >doesn’t even show the product LMAO WAT

This is exactly why capitalism is always going to be king! Money makes the world go round. Money makes everyone go through sleepless nights to eke out even an ounce more productivity, hoping that competition can be squashed. This goes for any size business!
the cycle never ends. every month, a new "world’s most powerful model" takes the crown we applaud, compare, then wait for the next. it’s a race with no finish line... but where does it end?

the latest gemini pro 2.5 is the only model i've been using to code with. especially today since its thought output has changed, something about the code that it produces now, especially the way it thinks things through, nothing like it out there currently. lets see claude 4.
something tells me a LOT of people (primarily tech-minded people this year, then the masses next year) will be wanting the latest Google flagship phones rather than iPhones When I read "iPhone" now, I immediately think "worthless infuriating always-a-pain AI psuedo-assistant"
I've noticed when using Gemini Pro 2.5 in Cursor, its thinking has changes structure. It used to stream in its raw thinking - now it's very organized and comes in completed chunks, section by section

What my daughter said about “the before-time”: - she chilled in a Baby Battle Royale lobby stocked with every unborn soul, plus NFT-grade mini-griffins as pets, all farming V-Bucks for reincarnation skins - the place was supervised by a celestial security Ring camera - free candy
What my daughter said about before she was born: - she was in a "zoo for babies", with all the babies who ever lived and all the baby animals - she met her brother there and picked him to be her brother - there was someone with "hundred thousand eyes" who could see everything … MoreLess

If they named the models llama 3.4 instead of llama 4 maybe I’d still be positive about Meta but… wtf was that guys? 😂😂😂
i had the chatgpt pro sub for the first month it came out; o1 wasn't so revolutionary so i didn't decide to keep it; this changes with experiencing o3 + memories + strict following of custom instructions+... memories o3 + memories feels like what agi should feel like amazing.
the new chatgpt is my favorite model to talk to because of its memory. it's like an unlimited custom instructions/reply like this to me window.
My usage percentages have changed from using Gemini sparingly and only when it's high context to now primarily using Gemini and only using Claude when Gemini is having true trouble or is stuck on something.
Wait, so technically you can make your arm into a little mini drone that flies around, picks up stuff for you, which pretty much gives you telekinetic powers? Yes or no?
I never considered prosthetic arms & hands could be wireless Connect your arm’s nerves to a remote hand
Once I have $10K to do a one fell swoop switch from everything Apple to everything not-Apple, I’m doing it. Powerhouse laptop, Google phone. I’m so sick of Apple’s nonsense, it’s trash now.
Google started rolling out 'Project Astra' in Gemini Live The move brings real-time visual AI, allowing multilingual conversations about anything seen and heard via a phone's camera or screen sharing Coming to Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25 devices! pic.x.com/TMj0A3pa7o
Holy fuck, Gemini Pro 2.5 has had my jaw dropping lately! I don't know what they're feeding that model, but holy shit!
