same for any drug imo - how normalized is it to get shitfaced at a social event of... any kind, really? so normalized, you're weird if you don't i've had my fair share of weed, alcohol, psychs, etc - im no prude - but 99% of the time, only with myself and for specific reasons. maybe im retarded though and don't get the "bonding" experience of doing shrooms with someone else other than alone if im taking lsd it's for a reason, why would i want a 3rd party potentially infecting (for lack of a better word) my experience/goal and again, taking it back a notch, same goes for weed/alcohol/lesser things; i've gotten to the point where i just don't do any of it, even alone - i've benefited (as well as fucked up, surely) in many aspects thanks to them - i'm in an amazing place now mentally, physically, spiritually - why play russian roulette again if there's no obvious chance of positive change/evolution? would i be the same person i am today without playing scientist with my brain and these substances? almost certainly not. was it risky as fuck and could have gone the complete opposite direction? almost certainly yes. now im completely sober for 3 years, have a wife, a kid, a business, clients, skills, routines, responsibilities, a catholic faith - all that i'm surely happy about without any questions of "maybe it'd be better if xyz" anyway, just my 2 cents
